A Successful Partnership;
Velti & Mayridge at MWC 2011
For Mobile World Congress 2011, Velti chose Mayridge to design and build their exhibition stand. As a testament to the success of the partnership, the Events Manager for Velti commented, "Not only did you meet our expectations, you surpassed them in all areas. The Mayridge team was very experienced, knowledgeable, experienced and helpful (and also had a great sense of humour!) We were very pleased with the outcome and the services."
Mayridge Develops New Talent
The National Apprenticeship Scheme is a government initiative which provides a structured framework of work-related learning normally leading to an NVQ or technical certificate. It's great for the apprentice because they can 'earn while they learn' and for employers it provides a great source of motivated and enthusiastic recruits.
Mayridge has teamed up with Worcester College of Technology who provide the learning framework. We have recruited two new employees, Nikki Madeley and Daniel Mesfin, as apprentices in Business Administration and we will shortly be interviewing for a third apprentice in IT.
Mayridge Continues Tradition of Customer-Focused Excellence
As an ISO certified company, Mayridge undergoes surveillance visits to ensure that the high standard that such a certification demands is maintained throughout all company processes and systems.
During the last visit by the ISO assessors on January 18th 2011, not only was it recommended that the certification be maintained for another year – a success in its own right - but it was also observed that Mayridge is a ‘Very customer orientated organisation, with focus on delivering / exceeding client expectation’ and that ‘Projects are well managed and supporting records organised effectively’.
David Freeman, Director of Mayridge Ltd, commented, ‘this is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates that a core Mayridge value - focus on quality and delivery – is integral to the way we work.’
Martin Baker
Mayridge and Martin-Baker will continue their successful working relationship at Farnborough International Airshow 2010.
This year, as well as designing and installing Martin-Baker’s exhibition stand and hospitality chalet, Mayridge will be providing a stand briefing to help Martin-Baker enhance the service they are able to offer clients at the event.
2010 marks the fourth year of partnership between Mayridge and Martin-Baker at the Farnborough and Paris International air shows.
Cumulate wins first ING contract
Dutch bank ING have appointed Mayridge to create a bespoke Meeting Room Booking System for the prestigious Sibos 2010 show in Amsterdam. This allows Account Managers to book appointments with their clients at the show confident that there is a room available. The System works in real time and prohibits double booking; becoming the entire event diary for the ING staff.
Mayridge has moved!
The Group HQ has relocated to new premises in the Vale of Evesham from where the international services can continue to be supported. Group MD David Freeman says “this is a great new start for us with all the teams co-located in one place. But we are not losing the friendly, professional and thorough approach for which Mayridge is rightly renowned. The move to our new home has been handled in the same way as every client project and after just three days, the whole office was up and running as if nothing had changed – apart from the surroundings!”
